LATINPHOTO.org is an internet photo library which was founded by Patrick Lüthy in Switzerland. The idea was to create a database that offers any images about Latin America. The database was posted in December 1999 and is updated on a regular basis. LATINPHOTO.org is a documentary photo archive and does not use any posed or altered images. From our photographers, we receive authentic and expressive photos from all of Latin America. In our editorial you can find various subject themes. Latinphoto.org works throughout Latin America with various local correspondents. We support photographers from Latin America and offer them a platform for their photos worldwide. You can contact us if you are looking for a local photographer on site or if you would like to order an exclusive photo production. The result is authentic images that are focused and corrected but never altered or posed. Our photos are in accordance to the international standard IPTC. All publications are subject to payment and a copy of each publication must be submitted to LATINPHOTO.org.
